چکیده

Cobalt molybdenum catalysts supported on novel activated carbon-HZSM-5 composites with different mass ratios were prepared by wet-impregnation method and pre-sulfided CS2. Characterization of these was done using X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, N2 adsorption-desorption, scanning electron microscope analytics. NiWO4 nanoparticles: a promising catalyst for hydrodesulfurization.

NiWO(4) nanoparticles have been facilely synthesized by a hydrothermal approach, and used as a catalyst for the hydrodesulfurization of thiophene and its derivative 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene, showing a significantly higher activity than commercial NiW/Al(2)O(3).

Study of carbon-supported bimetallic PtCu nanoparticles by ASAXS

Bimetallic platinum-copper nanoparticles on carbon support are studied as a perspective electrochemical catalyst by anomalous small-angle X-ray scattering near the Pt absorption L3-edge. The simultaneous fitting of several diffraction patterns measured at different photon energies lead to a satisfactory agreement between experimental and model curves in the assumption of core-shell structure of...

Chitosan supported bimetallic Pd/Co nanoparticles as a heterogeneous catalyst for the reduction of nitroaromatics to amines

A new bimetallic nanocomposite of chitosan was prepared. Pd and Co nanoparticles were deposited on chitosan to produce a new heterogeneous recyclable catalyst for use in the bimetallic catalytic reduction reaction. The catalyst was characterized with common analysis methods for nanocomposites including Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy, X-Ray Diffraction pattern, Thermal Gravimetric Analysis...

Hydrogenation of Anthracene in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Solvent Using Ni Supported on Hβ-Zeolite Catalyst

Catalytic hydrogenation of anthracene was studied over Ni supported on Hβ-zeolite catalyst under supercritical carbon dioxide (sc-CO2) solvent. Hydrogenation of anthracene in sc-CO2 yielded 100% conversion at 100 °C, which is attributed to the reduced mass transfer limitations, and increased solubility of H2 and substrate in the reaction medium. The total pressure of 7 MPa was found to be optim...
